i love this lens.
so excited to finally add it to my bag.
been praying about it and saving for it and waiting.
i am learning to love waiting. it's so good for my heart.
it's hard in the moment but so good afterwards.
and i love seeing what God does in me during seasons of waiting.
today was a very good day.
oh, my gosh. feels.
ReplyDeleteyou are gorgeous and so is your family. (your brothers, gah. they're so adorable, okay? i'm in love with sam and eli.)
ALSO. the musician in me is crying at the piano photo.
ReplyDeletesuper excited for you girl! can't wait to see all that you do with this new lens. :)
ReplyDeleteOh so exciting! Ah yes, waiting is a good lesson. I'm still in stages of waiting for many things but God is teaching me things throughout about Himself and who He wants me to be.
ReplyDeleteLove that last picture if you, Hannah. You're so pretty and I really like the way you wrap your head band. Where do you buy those?
Blessings!
-Madi
amen, to your words, sweet lady. one of the reasons i'm (learning :) to love waiting is it helps us to slow down and be still, to really listen and seek God and not only seek His gifts. it's all by His grace, His marvelous grace working in our hearts because of who He is. praise Him!
Deleteand thank you, chica -- it's actually just a scarf I wrapped really tightly. :)
How is it possible? That this wonderful blog exists, and I never even knew of it? To follow is definitely a must for me. And those photos (and the new lens!) are purely sunshine! Oh, is that Dawn I see? As in, Pride and Prejudice? LOVE.
ReplyDeletedawn, pride and prejudice it is! cannot get enough of that film score. slowly plunking my way through the piece and promising myself i'll be able to play it as it ought to be someday.

ReplyDeletethat's awesome! I'm loving the wait (okay, i've been waiting. not really loving it... well, at least not all of the time. anyways...) i'm kinda loving the wait of saving up for a dslr... i dunno what i'm going to get though. i'm prolly getting a used one of off eBay, it doesn't matter if it's canon or nikon-- i just want it to be in good condition, comes with a lense and cap, and working.
ReplyDeleteyou're so lucky to already have a camera-- and that lense!
how exciting! that looks like a fantastic lens-- and darling, you're eyes are blue! gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAh! So exciting, Hannah! Isn't it so great when you wait and the Lord provides? These photos are breathtaking as usual... the piano one has me speechless.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I had a question: do you use VSCO 01 or 02? I've been looking into buying one and I think I'm leaning toward 02, but I'm not sure. I'm gathering all kinds of opinions right now. :)
xx.
Lindsey
p.s. Your blue eyes are so stunning. :)
wow! :) I guess you are lovin' the 35mm? ;) That last picture of you is perfect. Beautiful! <3 I'm learning to love waiting too...everything always seems more rewarding when you have to wait for it, than if you just say "I want that" and you get it immediately. :)
ReplyDeleteohhh, those shots. SO BEAUTIFUL. love the new lens, and your pretty blue eyes. :)
ReplyDeleteYOUR PHOTOGRAPHY is just... GAAHHHH. It's just too good that I don't even know what to say. Your new lens looks amazing, I'm jealous. ;) And you're gorgeous... and your eyes.. I... don't.... ahhhhhh.

ReplyDeleteso excited for you hannie-girl! God definitely molds and stretches and pushes and pulls us in seasons of waiting for the desires of your heart and His promises to be fulfilled, but He is sooo good through it all, and the time (if we allow it to be) can be so sweet and something we look back on fondly.
